Ed Sheeran is expanding his creative reach with the release of a new capsule collection in collaboration with KidSuper, the Brooklyn-based label led by Colm Dillane. The project coincides with the launch of Sheeran’s latest album, “Play,” which was written across several countries and completed during a stay in Goa, India.
According to the artist, the album centers on themes of joy, renewal and the improvisational energy of life — concepts that inspired his collaboration with KidSuper.
“I’ve loved working with Colm on this capsule collection. When we first started talking, I realized that there was a lot of similarities in the way we approach our work, and the feel of KidSuper mirrors what my new album ‘Play’ is all about. I love the spirit of the pieces we’ve designed; it’s all fun, and Colm has helped bring the joy and freedom of ‘Play’ to life. We’ve had a lot of fun creating the pieces, and this is a first for me, so I’m really pleased I got to do it with KidSuper,” Sheeran said via statement.

Dillane’s KidSuper has built a reputation for merging elements of fashion, art and performance. According to the brand, the partnership with Sheeran reflects their shared belief that creativity extends beyond conventional boundaries and thrives when playfulness and sincerity meet.
The Play capsule is positioned less as tour merchandise and more as an artistic extension of the album. The clothes feature hand-drawn graphics, embroidery and designs that nod to Sheeran’s lyricism while carrying KidSuper’s visual language. Pieces include T-shirts, hoodies, shorts and hats priced between $35 and $150.
To mark the launch, Sheeran and Dillane are hosting a public event on Thursday at KidSuper Studios in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The collection is now available at the studio’s store while supplies last. Sheeran’s eighth album “Play” will officially debut on Friday.
