Heidi Klum has a thing for denim on denim, especially when it’s paired with a tall pair of heels. The supermodel touched down in Cannes ahead of the 79th annual Cannes Film Festival, and so far, her street-style looks and her shoes ahead of the annual event have been turning heads.
For that look in particular, which she wore while walking her dog outside the Hotel Martinez on Tuesday, Klum climbed into a towering pair of platform sandals. Avid high-heel wearers understand the challenges of wearing heels on cobblestone streets but Klum did so with ease. She wore a pair of black platform shoes with crisscross straps that created an open toe silhouette.

The shoes appeared to have high block heels that were obscured by her wide-legged jeans. She paired the black leather heels and jeans with a long, short-sleeve denim vest in a light wash, which was a fitting look for the casual outing. She walked her small dog with a Gucci Large Web pet leash.
The “America’s Got Talent” judge arrived to at the Nice Airport in France on Monday, maintaining her monochrome style. She wore an all off-white ensemble for her arrival, which consisted of a white overcoat with a white blazer and white, oversize trousers.
She paired her airport look with a comfortable pair of shoes, going for the Saint Laurent Bump lace-up sneakers. The shoes featured a cream, beige and brown colorway and are made of leather, suede and fabric.
The lace-up pair features an embossed pattern at the back and a rubber sole in white and beige. Saint Laurent offers the Bump sneakers in optic white for $1,050, which also feature a low-top drawstring laced design with a rubber Saint Laurent signature on the tongue and back tab.
Klum brought back a pair of shoes from last year’s trip to Cannes. For another walk with her dog, she kept it simple in light-wash jeans, a sheer black blouse, a black blazer and Chanel 11.12 Bag in washed denim. She then slipped into the Christian Louboutin Penny Donna Black Calf Ali loafers.
The loafers feature tonal lining and graphic topstitching and are set on a slightly raised heel. The shoes have a strap and the tongue has a gold-toned coin with the Maison Christian Louboutin logo. They also feature the brand’s the signature red leather sole.
She wore the same loafers last year while on a walk with her husband Tom Kaulitz in Cannes and during her arrival at the Nice Airport in May. She also wore the shoes while on set when she was filming her cameo in “The Devil Wears Prada 2” in 2025.
The “Project Runway” host is a frequent guest at the Cannes Film Festival. The model, who has influence in the fashion and entertainment worlds, attends the yearly event often, walking the red carpet at film premieres at the festival and attending events like the amfAR Cannes Gala.
