Heidi Klum is returning for “The Devil Wears Prada 2.” The supermodel was spotted on the set of the upcoming sequel on Monday in New York, sporting a pair of Christian Louboutin penny loafers as her footwear of choice in between scenes.
Klum was spotted in two separate looks, including a purple gown by Maria Lucia Hohan and a suit, and paired them both with her go-to casual look footwear — the French footwear designer’s Penny Donna Black Calf Ali Loafers. Calf Ali is a type of calf leather with an embossed alligator or crocodile pattern, which is often used by Christian Louboutin in its footwear. The “Ali” is derived from “alligator,” and the embossed texture gives the leather a look and feel of genuine animal skins.

The Penny Donna loafers are enhanced with tonal lining and graphic topstitching are set on a slightly raised heel, adorned with a strap and the tongue is decorated with a gold-toned coin with the Maison Christian Louboutin logo. As always, the shoes feature the signature red leather sole.
Klum, who starred as herself in the original 2006 movie, paired the loafers with the Maria Lucia Hohan strapless Jasleen dress, which was made from a vibrant purple metallic silk tulle and featured a flattering sweetheart neckline, a draped skirt, a corset bodice and pleating.
The model previously wore the Louboutin shoes when arriving at the airport in France for the Cannes Film Festival in May, for which she wore a similar relaxed ensemble with loose-fitting trousers and a blazer. The shoes are not currently available on the luxury footwear designer’s website, but they have the Penny Loafers with smooth calf leather available for $995.
All eyes have been on “The Devil Wears Prada 2” cast as they film the sequel this summer in New York, with fans paying close attention to their fashion and footwear choices. So far, Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt have been turning heads in shoes from René Caovilla, Paris Texas, Gabriela Hearst, Jacquemus, Gianvito Rossi and more.
Like Klum, Hathaway has chosen comfort in between scenes, sliding on a pair of Chanel quilted sandals that she has been repeatedly wearing throughout the filming process. The movie is due to hit theaters in May.
