Tracee Ellis Ross was the latest star to cosign Jonathan Anderson‘s creative direction of Dior, wearing a design from the French luxury fashion house’s eighth couturier for the “Being Eddie” documentary premiere in Los Angeles on Wednesday night.
For the red carpet occasion, Ross turned to Dior’s spring 2026 ready-to-wear collection, favoring a look with a bold, lacy statement neckline. The look was crafted with a sleeveless silk blouse with a billowing silhouette and pleated detailing.
The blouse was matched with a pair of extra-wide-leg capri trousers, with a belted waist. The standout detail of the entire look, however, was the statement neckline. Ross’ blouse featured a fanned black lace collar with intricate embroidery throughout, providing Ross with an aesthetic high fashion mystique.

To complete her look, Ross wore a pair of black pumps and opted for minimal accessories, keeping her designer apparel the focal point of her red carpet attire. Dior’s spring 2026 ready-to-wear collection marked Jonathan Anderson’s inaugural show as the French luxury fashion house’s latest creative director, succeeding Maria Grazia Chiuri.
With a runway flanked by such high-profile stars and house ambassadors as Charlize Theron, Anya Taylor-Joy, Greta Lee and more, the collection saw Anderson leaning “into Dior’s architectural approach, but instead of quoting the brand’s historic H line, or A line, he made up his own. In his show notes, the designer described it as a play between ‘harmony and tension.’ In reality, it looked an awful lot like his previous work at Loewe,” Joelle Diderich wrote in WWD’s review of the collection.
“As the first designer to head both the men’s and women’s divisions at Dior, he set the foundation for the dialogue between the two. ‘I want people to try to be transversal within the store. It’s about playing with clothing,'” Anderson said, per Diderich’s review.
Tracee Ellis Ross is among several high-profile stars who appear in “Being Eddie,” a documentary that chronicles the life and career of comedian and Oscar-nominated actor Eddie Murphy. The film is now streaming on Netflix.
