Rachel McAdams went back to the late Aughts with her Pierre Cardin look at the “Send Help” premiere in Hollywood on Wednesday night.
The Oscar-nominated “Spotlight” actress turned to stylist Thomas Christos Kikis for her red carpet-ready attire, sporting a look that hails from Pierre Cardin’s fall 2009 collection. The piece featured an asymmetric neckline with a draped sleeve on one side.
A spiky black and crystal embellishment at the shoulder added ornamental intrigue to the overall look. A second spiky black and crystal ornament featured at the opposite hip of the jersey dress too. Cardin, who founded his eponymous fashion label in 1950, died at the age of 98 in December 2020. Rodrigo Basilicati-Cardin, who is Pierre Cardin’s great nephew, has since assumed the role of artistic director.
