A Jude mule put Rachel McAdams directly in the ongoing crispy white shoe trend cycle.
The actress wore Jude’s Date mule in white leather in Los Angeles for a “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” taping, following her star ceremony on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Tuesday.
The Date mule paired a closed toe and subtle peep-toe cutout with a slim stem heel, the arch sweeping inward toward the open back. Made in Portugal, the white leather silhouette retails for $590.

She styled the white mules with an A.W.A.K.E. Mode fall 2025 dress, which featured a tailored, blazer-style neckline with a deep V and long sleeves, and pale buttons running down the front. A center slit opened at the hem, revealing the white mules as she walked. She completed the look with a Freja Miro bag.
McAdams’ shoe choice linked her to a breakout brand on a fast rise. Jude, founded in 2024 by footwear veterans Jurgita Dileviciute and Denitsa Bumbarova, recently received the Emerging Talent Award at the 39th annual FN Achievement Awards. The Date mule she wore sits alongside the Fame pump and Mixer sandal among the label’s best-known styles. “Anything we dreamt of before launching a brand, we achieved within a year,” Dileviciute previously told FN of Jude’s first 12 months.
The label’s ascent has been driven in part by celebrity placements. Before Jude’s shoes even reached retail floors, the founders placed pairs on Kylie Jenner, Nicole Kidman, Kim Kardashian and Tracee Ellis Ross, later joined by Demi Moore, Daisy Edgar-Jones and Rose Byrne. More recently, Bella Hadid wore the Fame pump while promoting “The Beauty,” while Gabrielle Union and Tessa Thompson have also been spotted in the style.
McAdams’ white Date mules also continued a run of bright white celebrity heels. In the past week, Rihanna wore white Amina Muaddi Anok pumps in New York for A$AP Rocky’s “Don’t Be Dumb” album release last weekend, while Sabrina Carpenter leaned into height with white Christian Louboutin Daffodile platforms after “Saturday Night Live.” Other sightings, including Sydney Sweeney’s white pumps and Oprah Winfrey’s white Fendi boots, have helped turn crisp white shoes into one of early 2026’s most visible footwear themes.
