Odessa A’zion evoked Stevie Knicks at the 98th annual Academy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night, with wild curls and a billowing robe by Valentino.
The 25-year-old actress’ inky coils fell effortlessly over her forehead, tickling her bushy brows and bare eyes. The voluminous aesthetic was on par with her signature hair, which first set the internet aflame after the premiere of “I Love LA,” in which she stars as Gen Z micro-influencer Tallulah Stiel. Calls for A’zion to drop her curl routine rang throughout TikTok as soon as the first episode aired, alongside speculation that her hair wasn’t real. And while many critics still insist her curls are fake, A’zion has set the record straight, admitting she’s only worn a wig once for the Los Angeles premiere of “Marty Supreme.”
A’zion’s makeup, featuring wispy lashes and overlined lips, was consistent with her previous red carpet looks, natural and pared-back. An avid fan of no-makeup makeup, A’zion kept her complexion clean, using only warm contour and light bronzer.
