Kate Middleton arrived in Marlow, England, on Thursday, giving power dressing a casual update. The Princess of Wales, along with her husband, Prince William, began a three-day series of engagements on Monday in honor of World Mental Health Day. For her third day, Middleton wore a white short-sleeved shirt and dark-wash jeans. She elevated her ensemble with a royal blue Zara blazer featuring pronounced shoulders, a front flap pocket and a double-breasted metal button fastening as her statement piece. She completed her ensemble with beige sneakers from Veja.
During their visit to Marlow, the Prince and Princess of Wales attended a mental fitness workshop run by SportsAid at Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre. Middleton participated in a game of netball with a youth group and was very cautious with the two bandaged fingers she injured during a trampoline incident in September when she was playing with her kids.
Middleton’s choice to wear a blazer is on trend with the numerous number of blazers and suits she’s been wearing since September. The royal, known for her chic day dresses and coat dresses, has seen a recent style shift toward more suiting and tailored pieces.
