Kate Hudson went for refined luxury in a look by Fendi for her appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” in New York City on Wednesday night to promote her forthcoming film “Song Sung Blue.”
The Oscar-nominated “Almost Famous” actress, who was styled by Sophie Lopez, wore a look comprised of pieces from Fendi’s fall 2025 ready-to-wear collection. The look consisted of a top and skirt ensemble in pastel duchesse, featuring shades of soft pink on the top and a golden orange for the skirt.
The sleeveless top included a plunging V-shaped neckline and subtle fabric ruching at the waist. The skirt of the look included a high waistline with a midi hem. Throughout the piece, angular lines featured for added sartorial tension, giving the look an emphasis on modernity.

Hudson paired her look with peep-toe pumps with small gemstones on the front buckles. The actress went minimal with her jewelry selection, favoring her Fendi attire as the focal point of her Sophie Lopez-styled look.
As for glam, Hudson employed the talents of hairstylist Jacob Rozenberg, who coiffed the actress’ shoulder-length blond hair with a middle part and soft, natural beach waves. Her makeup, by artist Romy Soleimani, included bold brows, lined eyes and a glossy lip.
Hudson’s top and skirt made their runway debut as part of Fendi’s fall 2025 showcase during Milan Fashion Week in February. Celebrating its centennial year, the fashion house orchestrated a collection full of draped pieces, cardigans, lingerie-inspired dresses and bold business suits.
Creative director Silvia Venturini Fendi “did not stray from opulence, parading what is sure to be one of the most luxurious runway collections of the Milan season, strong on eel skin and leather coats, including a terrific trench; sleek suede shirts; voluptuous and roomy double-face peacoats, and handsome tweeds and checks dappled with crystal and metallic embroideries,” Miles Socha wrote in WWD’s review of the collection.
Hudson’s appearance on “The Tonight Show” in her Fendi look coincides with the promotional tour of her latest film “Song Sung Blue.” The movie chronicles the lives of Mike and Claire, played by Hugh Jackman and Hudson, who form a Neil Diamond tribute band and find success and heartbreak along their journey. “Song Sung Blue” hits theaters Dec. 25.
