Jennifer Lawrence wore Givenchy at the 83rd annual Golden Globe Awards on Sunday night.
The actress, who is nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture — Drama for “Die My Love,” returned to the annual awards show in hopes of receiving her fourth Golden Globe win across the competitive acting categories.
Lawrence posed in the ethereal gown, designed by creative director Sarah Burton, featuring embroidered pink and green florals layered atop nude mesh with cutouts on the side. The dress bore a similar resemblance to Chrissy Teigen’s fashion at the 2024 ACE Awards, only it had a plunging neckline and a matching powder pink satin overcoat. Lawrence also accentuated the look in Swarovski diamonds and a vintage Longine watch. Her strappy heels were just barely visible under the floral hem of the dress.

The look was most likely styled by Jamie Mizrahi, who has been working with Lawrence since 2023. WWD has reached out to Mizrahi for confirmation.
As for her glam, Lawrence brought her blond bangs to the function, plus smoky shadow and blushed lips. Gregory Russell was behind her new haircut.
“For tonight, I was inspired by Jennifer’s Givenchy Couture tulle gown with its delicate floral embroidery. I wanted the hair to feel romantic and effortless, with a soft, natural texture that complemented the lightness of the dress. We landed on cutting Nico-inspired bangs to frame her face and give the look a quiet modern edge. I cut the fringe on wet hair, then blow-dried using a flat boar-bristle brush, gently twisting through the lengths to maintain movement. To finish, I worked through large sections with a one-inch iron, curling in a single direction and twisting as I released to create an irregular, natural wave,” Russell told WWD.
This organic, ultra-feminine ensemble was a far cry from her last Golden Globe Awards appearance in 2024, where Lawrence was nominated for her performance in “No Hard Feelings.” Here, she wore a blue velvet Dior couture gown. The textured dress featured a plunging neckline with draped sleeves, and the back mirrored the front with a subtle tie detail across her shoulder blades. The star, who has consistently attended the Golden Globes over the years, has often favored Dior — which makes sense, given she’s been an ambassador to the luxury label since 2012.
