Sandy Powell is a British costume designer, widely recognized for her work in “Shakespeare in Love (1998),” “Gangs of New Y0rk (2002)” and “The Young Victoria (2009).” Throughout her career, which spans nearly three decades, Powell has earned numerous accolades, including three Academy Awards, three BAFTA Awards and two Costume Designers Guild Awards. The designer has also worked with several Hollywood stars, including, Gwyneth Paltrow, Brad Pitt, Cate Blanchett and Jack Nicholson.
