Elle Fanning hit the 2026 Academy Awards red carpet in a Givenchy by Sarah Burton dress on Sunday in Los Angeles.
The Oscar nominee opted for a strapless white gown with silver wisteria detailing along the fitted bodice and the bottom of the full tulle skirt which flared out and swept the red carpet. The layers of delicate fabric gave her look a classic romantic aura, while the floral embellishment provided subtle shine.
The floral design of the Givenchy dress aligned with the wisteria design of the necklace Fanning wore, an archival Cartier piece from 1903. Fanning had her blond hair swept back in a low bun for the formal occasion.
Fanning’s 2026 awards season attire has been full of Old Hollywood glamour, with classic silhouettes and a few nods to modern trends. At the Golden Globe Awards in January, McMillen dressed Fanning in a floral beaded Gucci gown. The dress’ silhouette was evocative of 1950s style, with a bevy of sparkle to boot.
