The stars of Luca Guadagnino’s new film “Queer” and special A-list guests attended a gala screening of the Golden Globe-nominated film on Tuesday in London. The film’s star, Daniel Craig, was joined by Cate Blanchett and more for the red carpet occasion.
Among the designers featured a fair few opted to give a nod to the film’s costumier, Jonathan Anderson. The designer also worked with Guadagnino on his film “Challengers” earlier this year and serves as the creative director of Spanish luxury fashion house Loewe. Cate Blanchett
Blanchett wore a plaid and allover sequin matching set courtesy of Ashish. The set featured green and multicolored plaid patterning with shiny sequins giving the look an extra bold touch throughout. Blanchett’s look was curated by stylist Elizabeth Stewart, with makeup by Mary Greenwell.

Nicola Coughlan gave a nod to Jonathan Anderson’s designs, wearing a Loden green Loewe trenchcoat. The silhouette featured a double-breasted construction and curved sleeves. The look also featured notch lapels, along with button front fastening and welt pockets.
Daniel Craig
Craig went the monochrome route with his attire. The “Queer” star opted for a mocha-toned suit, featuring wide-leg trousers, an oversize vest, coat and scarf. Craig also accessorized with a pair of sunglasses featuring yellow lenses.
Based on the novel of the same name by Williams S. Burroughs, “Queer” takes place in 1950s Mexico City and follows and American expat, played by Craig, who leads a solitary existence until a young student, played by Drew Starkey, enters his life. The film is now in theaters.
