Blake Lively proved that florals for spring can indeed be groundbreaking on Friday while attending a talk pegged to her upcoming film, “It Ends With Us,” in Dallas.
The actress opted for a Balmain minidress from the label’s spring 2024 collection, which featured a sheer bodice, intricate floral beading and exaggerated hips. Lively accessorized with statement rings, gold dangle earrings and crystallized Christian Louboutin heels.
The “Gossip Girl” star wore her dirty blond tresses in a ponytail, while her makeup consisted of coral blush and a matching lip.

Lively attended the event alongside her costar Brandon Sklenar and Colleen Hoover, the author of the book on which the film is based. Hoover’s bestselling novel debuted in 2016.
“It Ends With Us” releases in theaters on August 9. Justin Baldoni, who previously helmed “Five Feet Apart” starring Cole Sprouse and Haley Lu Richardson.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight last week, Lively explained why she feels the film does the book justice.
“Some people will always like a book better than a movie and some people like a movie better than the book, but I think that we just did our best to honor the book and honor the fans, and, I think, really make something that works even by itself,” she said.
“If you don’t know the book, the movie works,” Lively added. “I don’t think there’s any way that if you read the book and you saw the movie that you wouldn’t be thrilled. We really worked hard on that,” she added. “I also believe if you saw the movie and then read the book, you wouldn’t go, ‘Hold on, this isn’t like [the other].’ You can do either. I think they’re both really beautiful.”
