The ceremony, the last of the awards season, is considerably one of the most influential red carpet events when it comes to high fashion. However, dressing up for the occasion can be much easier if your name is Adam Sandler.
At the 2025 Academy Awards, Sandler crashed Conan O’Brien’s opening monologue right after the host complimented the guests for being “properly dressed.”

“Adam, what are you wearing?” O’Brien asked, adding that Sandler was “dressed like a guy playing video poker at 2 a.m.”
“Nobody even thought about what I was wearing until you brought it up,” Sandler said. “I like the way I look. Because I’m a good person. I don’t care about what I wear and what I don’t wear. My snazzy gym shorts and fluffy sweatshirt offend you so much that you had to mock me in front my peers!”
