Oprah Winfrey returned to the Oscars stage on Sunday. Accompanied by Whoopi Goldberg, the media mogul presented a tribute to the late Quincy Jones at the 97th Academy Awards ceremony, wearing a businesswear-inspired outfit with a glamorous twist.
Winfrey wore a black tuxedo-style jacket with satin lapels, a crisp white dress shirt with prominent white cuffs underneath, a black sequined necktie and a matching black sequined skirt. She accessorized with black shoes, Boucheron jewelry and an Apple watch. Her long, dark hair was styled in classic Hollywood curls.
Winfrey made her debut at the Oscars in 1986, wearing a white satin gown with gold beading. She was nominated for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her work in Steven Spielberg’s adaptation of “The Color Purple.” Since then, she has attended the awards ceremony several times, wearing looks from Gianfranco Ferré, Vera Wang, Zac Posen and other designers.
