Travis Scott’s newest Air Jordan was initially expected to release in September, but the buzzy sneaker was pushed back later than originally intended. A second round of leaks subsequently indicated that the three-way collaboration would release some time in November, and now a firm date has been pegged down.
The Travis Scott x Fragment x Air Jordan 1 Low Military Blue will release early in the month ahead. It’s actually the second time the rapper has linked with the Japanese design studio on an AJ1 Low, and the third time on an Air Jordan 1 of any height, but this iteration opts for a simplified color scheme featuring Fragment’s signature shade of blue.
Whereas the previous low-top featured blue, white, black and cream on its upper, the variant opts for just a predominantly blue upper. Black can then be found on the tongue and laces, while the midsole is rendered in off-white. On the heel, you’ll find. a mix of marks for all parties involved, mismatched in two places across the two shoes. A new knotted charm comes tied to the laces, and if you look closely, you can also make out faint-pink edges on the leather panels to match the insole. Each pair will come with additional lace options in pink, blue and off-white.
