With a fall-themed Air Force 1 draped in a removable leaf shroud already on the way, it looks like Nike will be continuing the covered footwear theme when warmer weather arrives.
After the moss and leaves-covered style comes a spring-appropriate cherry blossom iteration. Like its autumn counterpart, the newly surfaced style features a graphic printed overlay shroud that’s been sliced into cherry blossom shapes. The method produces a three-dimensional effect which can be fully removed to reveal a matching Malt/Light Soft Pink/Particle Rose/Mauve Gray suede colorway undefneath.
A symbol of the spring months, cherry blossom flowers, or sakura, are significant in Japanese culture. Stateside, the flowers are celebrated in Washington, D.C. during springtime, a connection which led Nike to apply a cherry blossom theme to its 2024 “DMV” Air Foamposite One release. The theme also has past ties to the Air Force 1 as it was memorably featured on 2005’s coveted Ueno Sakura style.

The model debuted in 1982 as a high-top performance basketball shoe and was nearly discontinued in 1984 before becoming the icon that it is today. A group of Baltimore sneaker store owners persuaded Nike to keep the sneaker in production and just years later, the sportswear company had a bonafide hit on its hands.
Essentially two sneaker looks in one, this new Nike Air Force 1 ’07 Cherry Blossom style is also being referred to as Spring Flowers. While it doesn’t have a confirmed release date, the pair is set to arrive right on time for spring 2026 from nike.com and select Nike Sportswear retailers. The sneaker will retail for $130 and its style code is IQ3472-298.
