After releasing the Air Flightposite in a stealthy “Triple Black” style on Friday, Nike Sportswear will reportedly dip back into its Foamposite archive for a similar — yet upgraded — look on an upcoming sneaker.
According to @zsneakerheadz and Sneaker Files, the Nike Air Foamposite One will soon receive an all-black “Carbon Fiber” makeover. Coming in a “Black/Black/Dark Smoke Gray” colorway, early speculative mock-ups show a nearly blacked-out upper with a translucent rubber outsole. The Foamposite shell upper of the shoe is expected to feature a carbon fiber-inspired finish. It’s worth noting that the image pictured here is a speculative mock-up of what the pair is expected to look like and not an actual image of the upcoming shoe.
While a carbon fiber-patterned Air Fomaposite One in black would be a first for the model, Nike has released similar executions in the past. Most notably, in 2014, the Air Flightposite model received an all-black “Carbon Fiber” style which was a retro release of an original colorway from 1999. As for the Air Foamposite, a 2017 “Metallic Silver” Air Foamposite Pro featured a silver carbon fiber finish, but this upcoming ’24 pair is the first time it’s been featured on the Air Foamposite One.

The Nike Air Foamposite One “Carbon Fiber” is set to arrive during holiday 2025 with availability from SNKRS and select Nike Sportswear stockists. Retail pricing of $230 is expected, and the sneaker has a SKU of HF2902-002.
