Anyone who’s run a marathon likely knows the comfort a mylar blanket brings after a race. Now Saucony is looking to its spacey aesthetic for a collaboration that will make you highly visible during the run itself.
The Minted NY x Saucony Endorphin Pro 5 chromes out the recently launched super shoe. A monochrome color scheme is maintained throughout, including overlays and a midsole with a high degree of sheen. The only break comes via a blue Minted text hit beneath the lateral collar, connecting it with the immensely blue Endorphin Speed 4 that came in their last collaboration. Providing further opportunity for color blocking are additional lace options in white and blue.

Saucony boasts two super shoe silhouettes, Endorphin Pro and Endorphin Elite, the former of which caters more to stability and comfort, and is more broadly popular. For version 5, which launched in March, the carbon fiber plate swapped a spoon shape for that of a fork in the name of of flex and propulsion while also utilizing fluting and corrugation for longitudinal stiffness.
A dual-layer midsole employs a supercritical PwrRun HG foam directly underfoot with firmer PwrRun PB beneath the plate, and a new PwrTrac midsole offers better grip. The most tangible sensation of all, though, comes via the tongue, which is made out of an elastic mesh stitched directly beneath the upper for snug fit.
Founded in 2021, Minted made its collaborative debut with Saucony through a Statue of Liberty-inspired ProGrid Triumph 4 for lifestle wear in spring 2024. They turned to running later that year with the “Electric Blue” Endorphin Sped 4.
The Minted NY x Saucony Endorphin Pro 5 will first release May 16 through a pop-up at Saucony’s Covent Garden Store in London. Online drops will follow May 19 through Minted’s website and May 21 through Saucony’s. Pricing is set at $250.
