LeBron James’ On-Court Sneaker Style Through the Years [PHOTOS]

Discover LeBron James' Nike sneakers worn throughout his NBA career so far.

LeBron James has led a storied NBA career, from being drafted straight out of high school to surpassing the number of seasons played by any other player.

The 41-year-old, now in his 23rd season, has played for three different teams (Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat and Los Angeles Lakers), and secured four championship rings. While the cities may have changed, he’s had Nike by his side throughout the entire journey. He signed with the athletic giant ahead of his rookie season in 2003, commencing a lucrative longterm partnership which eventually turned into a lifetime deal. Considered one of the greatest players to ever join the league, James naturally has his own signature sneaker line, with the LeBron 23 being the most recent model.

Below, FN tracks James’ on-court sneaker style through the years, from his Nike Air Zoom Generation era in 2003 to his LeBron 23 player exclusive sneakers paying tribute to his son Bronny James’ school, USC, worn in January 2026. Notably, James’ professional basketball career has been so extensive that father and son now play for the Lakers together.
