Throughout the company’s nearly 25-year history, Crocs has given its flagship Classic Clog model seemingly endless makeovers — ranging from cowboy boots to platforms and an abundance of officially licensed collaborations. And yet, after more than two decades, there’s apparently still new territory for the brand to explore, as it will soon release an elevated version of its staple shoe with a first-of-its-kind upgrade.
Part of the brand’s premium experimental EXP line, the upcoming Classic EXP Clog retains the familiar look and feel fans have come to expect from the Classic Clog, but updates the bottom with a new Vibram outsole. More specifically, it uses Vibram’s XS Trek Evo material, an update to its XS Trek compound which offers multi-surface grip on both wet and dry surfaces along with heightened durability.
