Nike’s Upgraded Air Force 1 With Vibram Was Just Released in New Updates for Spring

After tackling winter weather head-on with a tricked-out Air Force 1 complete with Gore-Tex liners and Vibram outsoles, Nike’s upgraded spin on its classic sneaker is back in new colors and materials for spring’s unpredictable forecasts.

The just-released Nike Air Force 1 ’07 LX Vibram is available in three styles while supplies last. The latest version of the Vibram-equipped model is offered in Summit White/Light Bone/Speed Yellow/Smoke Grey (style code IH1943-100), Silt Red/Light Violet Ore/Speed Yellow/Black (style code IH1943-600) and Pencil Point/Off Noir/Speed Yellow/Black (style code IH1943-001), offering plenty of options for those planning to keep a pair on standby for any unforeseen rain showers.

The biggest change from winter’s version is the lack of a Gore-Tex liner in the spring variation and the updated upper material, which replaces the previous leather build with a ripstop textile. This allows the Air Force 1 to be a bit more breathable in clammy conditions without sacrificing durability.

Like the Gore-Tex Vibram styles that came months prior, the spring Air Force 1 ’07 LX Vibram also features an updated outsole traction pattern for improved grip. Other changes of note include Vibram’s signature yellow logo on the heel and outsole.
