Axel Arigato has unveiled its newest low-profile sneaker, the Daze Runner, a minimalist unisex shoe that joins the Slow Runner and the Tact Runner, which were released earlier this year. Available now online and in stores, the Daze Runner is priced at $310.
The Daze Runner, releasing in three colorways — black, beige and dark gray — showcases a lowkey design crafted with premium materials to represent the “refined, Scandinavian aesthetic” of the label. Lending the shoe a soft feel, the upper is made from 100 percent Italian suede. An overlay adds a funky asymmetric element to the set.
Part of Axel Arigato’s Dice category, the Daze Runner showcases a four-piece construction, offering a stripped-back version of the classic low-profile sneaker. A knit-inspired rubber outsole showcases an interlocking pattern reminiscent of the textile experimentation presented in the brand’s fall 2025 collection.

Crafted in Portugal, the sneaker also includes a bamboo cotton terry blind lining and a 100 percent Italian leather sock. Minimalist branding encompasses a debossed and distorted Axel Arigato print located at the tongue.
Jens Werner, creative director at Axel Arigato, said, “The Daze Runner reflects our continued commitment to minimalism and innovation. We wanted to create something familiar yet forward — an everyday shoe that feels effortless and considered. The subtle details, the premium textures and fabrics, the clean construction — it’s all about elevating simplicity to create a wearable, everyday sneaker.”
The preceding style, known as the Tact Runner, came out in April, showcasing distressed Italian denim, which makes for a fuzzy texture, and the Slow Runner was released in March, reimagining the label’s Marathon sneaker. But the brand isn’t strictly focused on lace-up sneakers these days; it also unveiled the Pillow Mule earlier this year, a style that blends loafers, slip-ons and sneakers into one creation.
