Zara Tindall brought preppy summer style to the Out-Sourcing Inc. Royal Windsor Cup in Engham, England, on Sunday with woven Tommy Hilfiger sandals and a Ralph Lauren dress.
For the polo match, Tindall specifically wore Tommy Hilfiger’s Jute-Trim Block-Heel Platform Sandal, which features not only a moderate platform in front but also a thick four-inch block heel elevating the set in back. The shoes feature a light beige, woven material throughout and a brown, slender strap at the top of the foot.
These platforms fit in with the woven sandal trend, which gains momentum during warm weather months. To name a couple of examples from this year, Staud reinterpreted Birkenstock’s Arizona silhouette with the Arizona Woven Embossed Sandal, and Nordstrom partnered with Tory Burch for its “Make Room for Shoes” campaign, showcasing an exclusive collection including the Kira Platform Sport Sandal in raffia.
