Victoria Beckham Keeps It Classic in Black Peep-Toe Mules and Crisp White Tailoring at London Premiere

At the debut of her eponymous Netflix documentary, the designer leaned into contrast, pairing sleek satin stilettos with sharp tailoring.

Victoria Beckham showed up to her own London premiere with the kind of confidence that comes from knowing exactly what works. She wore black satin peep-toe stiletto mules — narrow, sharp and quietly showy — the sort of heel that’s been a steady part of her go-to shoe wardrobe for decades.

The shoes had a thin stiletto and a low, curved front that left just enough of the toe visible. She paired the curved peep-toe silhouette with a dainty gold anklet. The rest of the look stayed in her lane: a white wrap blouse, matching slit skirt and a blazer draped over her shoulders.

Beckham’s choice follows a line she’s been on for months. In Paris in late September, she wore Saint Laurent’s Babylone mules in pleated bordeaux leather. Wednesday’s pair took that idea in a cleaner direction — sharper color, simpler materials. Peep-toe shapes like hers keep turning up across the season: Hailey Bieber wore satin slides in Paris, America Ferrera chose sculpted mules for a London event, and Dua Lipa stepped out in Tom Ford’s double-buckle pumps in New York at the end of last month.

The night also marked the premiere of “Victoria Beckham,” Netflix’s new three-part documentary tracing her evolution from pop star to fashion executive. “I’ve been in fashion for nearly two decades and am still fighting the Spice Girl preconceptions,” she told WWD ahead of the debut. “For the first time, I wasn’t in control — and that can make a control freak uncomfortable. But for me, it’s been quite liberating.”
