Teyana Taylor is on a winning streak thanks to Thom Solo. The actress has been returning to the footwear designer throughout the promo tour for her new show “All’s Fair,” and slipped into another one of his eye-grabbing designs on Monday while in New York.
The “One Battle After Another” star stepped out in a look from Balmain’s fall 2025 collection, which consisted of an all-black pants and top set made with a crocodile-embossed texture. The look features a matching long-sleeved top and pants, a wide belt and a small black Brandon Blackwood Jacome handbag with a gold chain strap. She paired the look with a pair of black boots.

The footwear brand confirmed to Footwear News that Taylor was wearing the Thom Solo Ankle Curve Boot in smooth black napa leather. The boot features a unique and dramatically curved heel measuring around five inches, which blends into a platform sole on the front of the heel, giving the shoe an added boost. The heel is a sculpted wedge with a cutout section.
The ankle boots feature a sleek, slim-fitting silhouette and an exaggerated pointed toe, which surpasses the platform, giving it a distinct appearance. Thom Solo’s new fall 2026 “Office Sirens” collection will feature new versions of this same style.
“Teyana Taylor brings a kinetic energy to the Ankle Curve Boot, her movement captures the very tension between structure and sensuality that inspired its creation,” designer Thom Solo said to FN, WWD’s sibling publication. “The silhouette is a foundation for our fall 2026 ‘Office Sirens’ collection, where it reemerges in new proportions and experimental materials that challenge convention.”
Thom Solo and the actress have had a few collaborative moments over the last few weeks, created by the styling duo Wayman and Micah. She wore the brand’s Opera Platform heel in Paris during the premiere of Hulu’s “All’s Fair” and again at the Time 100 Gala in New York. The Opera heel features a similar silhouette to the ankle boots, except it’s designed in the style of an ankle strap pump.
In addition to the “Escape Room” singer, the footwear designer has been collaborating with other celebrities, like Cardi B and Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, to create new styles. Earlier this year, Thom Solo Atelier officially opened its doors to made-to-order creations for fans that were once reserved only for stylists and celebrities. Now, everyone can collaborate directly with the women’s footwear designer to bring their footwear fantasies to life.
