Tessa Thompson was one of the stars showcasing Tory Burch‘s Pierced pumps at the brand’s show on Wednesday during New York Fashion Week, and she used the shoes to embrace colorblocking.
Thompson wore a grass green version of the Pierced pump, part of the brand’s popular Pierced collection, featuring an aerodynamic two-tone metal embellishment on the vamp. The silhouette includes a curved heel, creating a convex shape and a subtle pointed toe. The style worn by Thompson retails for $500 from the brand.
The green pumps provided another vibrant pop of color in Thompson’s Tory Burch ensemble. The “Hedda” actress modeled a belted beige midi skirt and a beige button-down collared crop top with a sunshine yellow hooded jacket over those garments. Combined together, the yellow and green exuded a ready-for-spring energy. Her metallic jewelry included chunky earrings and a choker necklace tucked under her collar.

Thompson was seated in the front row between Pamela Anderson and Amanda Seyfried, who also modeled Tory Burch shoe styles. Seyfried went for a version of the Pierced pump made from snake-embossed leather.
Thompson has embraced other unique shoe styles, including Balenciaga’s Duchess pumps and Saint Laurent’s Loulou slingback pumps, while sometimes going for a traditional look like a Christian Louboutin black pointed-toe stiletto pump.
