Rebel Wilson’s latest red carpet outfit was suited for the season.
The actress hit the world premiere of “Tinsel Town,” a new holiday film starring Wilson and Keifer Sutherland. For the premiere, which was held in London on Thursday night, Wilson wore bright red Christian Louboutin slingbacks.
The silhouette, the Sporty Kate Leather Slingback Pump, was crafted from glossy red patent leather. The shoes featured a sharp pointed toe as well as a slim ankle strap and a modest 55mm kitten heel.

Although slingbacks are a timeless silhouette, the shoe has has been a having a moment in the spotlight as of late. At the Venice Film Festival earlier this year, Kim Kardashian, Heidi Klum, Amal Clooney and more celebrities were seen in different versions of the classic style. The shoes, first popularized in the 1940s, have since continued to be reinvented and elevated by a variety of luxury shoe designers.

Wilson wore her heels with a black midi dress from Temperley London that had a winter-weather feel, thanks to its cozy velvet construction. The look featured long sleeves and a white blouse with silver buttons peeking out at the bodice and sleeves. She added a black tie under her collar and kept the rest of her accessories to a minimum.
“Tinsel Town” follows Sutherland as a washed-up Hollywood actor who takes a role in a small-town English theater production to take part in the Christmas show. With help from his choreographer, who’s played by Wilson, he attempts to reconnect with his estranged daughter. The film hits theaters and select streaming services on Friday.
