Lucchese Bootmaker has reunited with country star Chris Stapleton on a new collection which builds upon the debut styles released in 2023 with fresh colorways, exotic leather and the first collaborative apparel piece. The collection is available now at select retail locations and on Lucchese’s website.
Stapleton is a longtime friend of Lucchese, collecting the brand’s vintage boots and often wearing Lucchese shirts on tour. Ideation for his first collection with the American Western brand started in 2018, laying the groundwork for the ongoing partnership, which now brings about Volume II. Updated design details refresh beloved styles, merging Stapleton’s authentic style with Lucchese’s 142-year history of craftsmanship. This brought about a new collection of boots bringing together the artistry of bootmaking, storytelling and philanthropy, with a part of the proceeds supporting Stapleton’s charity Outlaw State of Kind.

Lucchese x Chris Stapleton: Volume II features six handmade boot styles celebrating Stapleton’s country music roots and the heritage of Lucchese. The Original Exotic, hailing straight from Lucchese’s archive, features American Alligator and Royal Calf leathers and is offered in Anthracite Grey and Cognac colorways.
The Old Friend style, paying homage to Stapleton’s songwriting heroes and what he refers to as the “songwriters’ uniform,” comes in Chocolate and Gray colorways; the boot features a 12-inch quarter and French toe. Lastly, the San Antonio boot, offered in Black Cherry and Tan colorways, takes inspiration from Lucchese’s original factory; the style is back with a high-gloss Santoni goat finish, Seville cording, Mule-Ear pull straps and a French toe.
Rounding out Volume II is the Lucchese x Chris Stapleton Classic Fit Shirt, a pearl snap with a Western yoke and dual chest pockets, influenced by Stapleton’s uniform on stage as well as the cover of his first album “Traveller.” The shirt is offered in black and denim colorways.
“After our inaugural collection with Chris Stapleton quickly sold out, it is a true honor to partner with him
again,” said Doug Kindy, president of Lucchese Bootmaker, in a statement. “Chris is family to us, and his passion for authenticity and Western tradition shines through in every step. With Volume II, we set out to build on the momentum of our first collaboration and to create something that feels even more personal and enduring. This collection reflects Chris’ soulful artistry and genuine spirit while carrying forward Lucchese’s legacy of technique and dedication to detail. Together, we’ve designed pieces that symbolize self-expression and the timeless connection between culture and tradition.”
With multiple ties to country music, Lucchese also released a second collection this year with country singer Parker McCollum.
