The first boat shoe released by the luxury footwear brand is offered in four colorways. Presenting a modern take on the classic American shoe, which has experienced a resurgence lately, the style is made distinct with printed laces and pompom adornments. Customers can find soft suede options in brown, russet and navy colorways in addition to a brown leather iteration. The lace-up, rounded-toe shoes are crafted with a rubber sole, an insole with memory foam cushioning and a hot stamp logo.

Boat shoes have shown their lasting influence lately, with luxury brands like Miu Miu and The Row offering their takes on the style in recent seasons. Sperry, long associated with the preppy style, is continuing to keep the look alive with trendy collaborations — one of which includes Monse, and that collaboration could be seen on the runway as part of the luxury brand’s spring 2026 show this New York Fashion Week.

Suffice to say, boat shoes are popular right now and Larroudé is ready to respond.

“We’re always adjusting and doing something differently,” cofounder Marina Larroudé said of her brand at the WWD x FN x Beauty Inc Women in Power forum on Sept. 8. “Whenever we were hit with the tariffs, we [decided to take] a look at the Brazilian market since we are already [making our shoes there]. And then that grew our business. So I always see a challenge as an opportunity.”

The designer recently collaborated with her former boss Candy Pratts Price on a capsule collection set on delivering women’s footwear essentials. The brand also launched a designer residency program this year with Chloe Gosselin tapped to commence the program.
