Kate Hudson added a new autumnal look to her “Song Sung Blue” press wardrobe for a special screening of the film in Los Angeles on Monday, and her ensemble featured a pair of chocolate brown boots, a color exemplifying one of the trendiest hues of the season.
Hudson opted into tonal dressing for the occasion, with the boots showcasing the darkest hue in her outfit. She wore a muted chocolate brown set crafted in suede, which offered a soft foundation to her gradient ensemble. Silhouette-wise, the boots featured a calf-height shaft with some slouching, a pointed toe and a heel offering her a boost in height. The shoes accented a long beige suede skirt and a creamy satin top with a sweetheart neckline, spaghetti straps and a statement floral appliqué decorating one strap.
Chocolate brown has emerged as a prominent color in fashion lately, and its popularity has extended down to shoes; Ciara, for example, wore platform sandals in a deep brown hue at the Cannes Film Festival in May. Not restricted to just dress shoes, Adidas is offering a range of sneakers and more products in the dark brown color family for customers to shop.
