Julianne Hough Brings D’Orsay Pumps Back Into Focus While Promoting ‘Dancing With the Stars’

Hough is getting ready for another season of the reality show.

Julianne Hough stopped by the “Good Morning America” studios on Wednesday, dressed in an all-black ensemble, complete with ankle-strap pumps. The dancer was in attendance to help reveal the new cast for the new season of “Dancing With the Stars” alongside her brother Derek Hough.

For the TV appearance, Hough opted for a pair of pointed-toe ankle-strap pumps made from glossy black patent leather. Her high-heeled shoes featured a stiletto or high heel measuring no more than three inches, along with a slim strap that fastened around the ankle.

The shoes were characterized by a D’Orsay silhouette, a pump-style shoe with sides cut away to reveal the arch of the foot. The design was named after the 19th-century French nobleman Count Alfred d’Orsay, and it helps create a classic and elegant look by exposing the side of the foot while often maintaining a closed toe and heel.

In Hough’s case, her heel was uncovered except for a strap that connected the ankle strap to the sole of the shoe. The strap was fastened by a silver metal buckle. The heel featured a square low-cut vamp that flattered the foot.

Hough, who works with stylist Jennifer Mazur, paired the shiny shoes with an ultra-sheer pair of black stockings, mini shorts, a sheer mock-neck long-sleeve blouse, and an oversized black blazer. She completed the look with Khaite’s Lilith Leather Evening Bag in black leather with gold accents to match the gold buckle on her belt.

The dancer, who is a co-host on “Dancing With the Stars,” helped announce the full celebrity cast for Season 34 on Wednesday. The cast for the new season includes Hilaria Baldwin, Jordan Chiles, Baron Davis, Alix Earle, Dylan Efron, Robert Irwin, Corey Feldman, Danielle Fishel, Lauren Jauregui, Corey Feldman and others.
