Ice Spice embraced the white-hot shoe trend at a special screening for “The Spongebob Movie: Search for Squarepants” in New York City on Wednesday with a pair of bold platforms.
The rapper opted for a pair of chunky white platform heels for the occasion to complete her all-white attire. Appearing to be a white version of Amina Muaddi’s Salma style, the shoes made a major statement with a tall, rounded base which was slightly upturned in front. The upper was somewhat minimalist with straps intersecting in an X shape across the foot and leaving a peep-toe opening. The Salma silhouette also features a towering stiletto heel. This shoe choice fits in with the general fashion sense of Ice Spice, who has worn Amina Muaddi platforms in the past.
The rapper’s shoes accompanied a sheer lacy white dress from Blumarine featuring a fitted bodice, long sleeves and a flowy mermaid skirt. Ice Spice’s look also included a sparkly cross necklace and pops of pink by way of her wavy hairstyle and makeup, adding pastel notes of color to complement the monochrome white outfit.
