Hilary Duff opened her “Small Rooms, Big Nerves” run at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London on Monday night with white-cream knee-high boots that reappeared across two stage looks, and then disappeared entirely when she performed barefoot at points during the intimate set.
The “Mature” singer’s boots read as a smooth, light-toned leather or leather-look style with a pointed toe, block heel and an exposed zipper running up the back of the shaft. A brief outsole glimpse appeared to be the small gold pineapple motif associated with Aquazzura, suggesting the boots may be from the brand; Footwear News has reached out for confirmation.
Duff paired the boots with a gray-blue denim set by Kate Barton, paired with the Rochelle Shearling Coat by Ducie. The casual-cool look combined a fitted, corset-style sleeveless top with wide-leg trousers constructed with pronounced folds down the legs. At different points in the performance, Duff switched between the cream block-heeled boots and bare feet with the denim-effect set, singing directly on the pink-carpeted stage during fan-favorite numbers.

Duff then paired the boots with a custom bodysuit by Miss Claire Sullivan for another section of the show. The nude one-piece featured a tonal floral motif and a built-in cape that draped over her shoulders and back, trimmed with pale blue rosette-like accents and netting at the hip and shoulder. She layered sheer tights underneath and kept jewelry minimal, stacking slim bracelets and earrings so the cape and boots carried most of the visual weight.
The London date marked Duff’s first live performance in roughly a decade and the live launch of her sixth studio album cycle. The set list mixed early-2000s hits with new material, including singles “Mature” and “Roommates,” before closing with “What Dreams Are Made Of” from “The Lizzie McGuire Movie” — performed in the Sullivan bodysuit and cream boots.
Duff’s cream boots also linked her comeback to a wider ivory and white footwear streak running through recent celebrity appearances. In the past week alone, Oprah Winfrey wore white Fendi First boots during a New York conversation for her book “Enough,” Sabrina Carpenter brought white Christian Louboutin Daffodile platforms to an “SNL” weekend in Manhattan and Rihanna added white Amina Muaddi Anok pumps to an album-release night for A$AP Rocky. Ahead, take a look at all the stars embracing the crispy white shoe trend.
