Emily Ratajkowski modeled breezy beach style while filming a Gucci campaign in Cannes, France, on Wednesday, showing off a pair of platform mules from the brand with multiple outfits.
Gucci Wedge Sandal With Horsebit
Filming the campaign as the Cannes Film Festival unfolds in the coastal town, Ratajkowski looked ready for French Riviera weather with her head-to-toe Gucci ensembles. For one look, the model wore a red, white and blue patterned one-piece bathing suit accented by a silky sarong tied at the waist. Her vacation-ready look also included narrow sunglasses and a capacious tote. She made a case for wearing platforms to the beach as she strutted down the sand wearing a tall pair of mules from the Italian brand.

The sandals featured in the Gucci ad include many classic design elements of the brand. Both the sole and upper showcase the beige and brown GG pattern, which is a diamond design with two Gs (one right side up and one upside down) at every intersection. The shoes also feature a silver horsebit adorning the wide strap, a detail strongly associated with the brand’s loafers. The open-toe sandals were lifted up a significant platform, recalling footwear silhouettes of the ’70s.
She also modeled the shoes with a red bikini top, an unbuttoned brown top and brown trousers. Her accessories included a headscarf, oversize aviator sunglasses and a purse.
It was recently announced that Maria Cristina Lomanto will take on the role of president of Europe, the Middle East and Africa for Gucci. The brand also unveiled its cruise 2026 collection in Florence at the Palazzo Settimanni this month.
