America Ferrera brought a business look to London on Thursday, showcasing a minimalist, formal heel look with a pair of sleek mules.
The actress, who is currently promoting the film “The Lost Bus,” embraced an asymmetric footwear look to complement her navy suit. The backless shoes featured a unique upper with one side longer than the other, reaching further down the foot with a curvaceous outline. The silhouette also featured a classic pointed toe and a tapered heel of modest height. The shoes were crafted with a smooth satin, which offered Ferrera’s ensemble a lustrous flair.
Simple black mule heels have been prevalent lately, with Selena Gomez wearing a pointed-toe sandal from Black Suede Studios in New York City and Zoë Kravitz donning a strappy set of heels from Saint Laurent at a photo call for “Caught Stealing” in Paris. In another example, Julia Fox showcased a black mule style, also from Saint Laurent, in Los Angeles.

Black heels are a go-to look for Ferrera; she opted for a traditional pointed-toe pump to complete her “The Lost Bus” premiere look at the Toronto International Film Festival on Sept. 5, for example, choosing the shoes to go with a cropped blazer, lacy corset and shiny satin skirt.
