Hey Dude Taps Former Adidas Exec Rupert Campbell as President

Rupert Campbell, a ten-year Adidas North America veteran who joined Crocs this past March, was named Hey Dude brand president, effective immediately.

Hey Dude has a new brand president.

Rupert Campbell, the brand’s senior vice president and chief commercial officer, has been promoted to executive vice president and brand president of Hey Dude, effective immediately. He will report to Crocs Inc. CEO Andrew Rees.

Campbell joined the company in March 2025. In his new role, he will have oversight for leading the brand’s product, marketing and commercial go-to market strategy.

“Rupert has proven to be an instrumental part of the Hey Dude leadership team, driving global strategy and execution end-to-end across all parts of our Hey Dude business,” Rees said. He added that Crocs’ board and leadership team are “confident that he will guide the Hey Dude business to long-term scalable global growth.”

Prior to joining Crocs, Campbell was a 9-year veteran of Adidas North America where he most recently served as president. In that role, he led a market of more than $6 billion in revenue and a team of more than 10,000. During his tenure at Adidas, he also held various leadership positions across several international regions, including Europe and Russia, working on transforming consumer perception of the brand and building marketshare.

In the third quarter , Rees said quarterly results came in ahead of expectations for the Hey Dude brand. The CEO also said that the brand returned to the Top 10 list of preferred brands among males in the latest Piper Sandler survey this fall.

Hey Dude earlier this month launched its NHL Collection for hockey fans featuring its cozy Wally Slipper. The slipper has a slip-on silhouette with faux shearling.

And in August, when Crocs posted second quarter earnings results, Rees said the company has accelerated its actions for the Hey Dude brand in taking back aged inventory to ensure that retail partners are reset with current product lines.
