Klutch Athletics has appointed a new president and general manager with nearly 30 years of experience with Nike under his belt.
Scott Munson steps into the new role after leaving the Swoosh in September. He most recently served as vice president and general manager of men’s business in Asia-Pacific and Latin America, and previous roles include the global vice president of men’s basketball and soccer apparel.

His global perspective, ability to develop high-performing teams, and track record of delivering growth and building iconic brands make him an outstanding addition to Klutch Athletics. He will play an instrumental role in our future growth as we continue our mission to empower the next generation of athletes and serve the communities where they live and play.”

A joint venture between Paul, the sports agent and founder of Klutch Sports, and New Balance, Klutch Athletics launched as sportswear brand in 2023. It offers both performance and lifestyle apparel and has also dabbled in co-branded New Balance footwear. Klutch athletes include incoming college basketball players Caleb Wilson and Isiah Harwell.

Prior to beginning his career in the sportswear industry during the late ’90s, Munson was a professional soccer player for the Vancouver 86ers and the Canadian National Team. For five years, Munson was the head coach for the boys soccer team at Beaverton High School in Oregon, and he’s a current board member of Street Soccer USA, which seeks to fight poverty and empower underserved communities through the sport.
Klutch Athletics launched its first ad over the summer with a 60-second commercial called, “The Best,” in which the brand’s journey is traced back to Paul growing up in Akron, where a lifelong friendship with LeBron James was formed.
