Extra Butter Taps Adidas Alum Manne Gonzalez as Chief Operating Officer

Gonzalez has also held roles at Dr. Jays, Packer Shoes and Stashed.

Extra Butter and its parent company TGS Holdings has named Manne Gonzalez as its new chief operating officer.

According to the retailer, Gonzalez will play a pivotal role in “driving the continued growth and innovation of both entities.” TGS Holdings also owns Nashville-based retailer Rooted as well as other shops including Renarts, Crusoe & Sons and Reed Space.

In this new role, TGS noted that Gonzalez will oversee all aspects of operations, strategy, and business development for Extra Butter, and will also be contributing to the growth of Renarts and Rooted. She will be responsible for “enhancing brand presence, optimizing retail experiences, and expanding market reach across TGS Holdings’ diverse portfolio,” the company added.

Having worked in the footwear industry since 1981, Gonzalez has had a distinguished career including pivotal roles at Dr. Jays, Adidas, Packer Shoes, and most recently, Stashed.

This new appointment comes after Extra Butter expanded its presence internationally for the first time two years ago. In 2023, boutique retailer chose India for its international debut, specifically the Lower Parel retail hub of Mumbai.
