Barbour Showcases Its Signature Colors in Collaborative Men’s Collection with Wildbunch Styles

Three footwear styles are included in the collection.

The great British outdoors is beckoning. Barbour has teamed up with Spanish label Wildbunch Styles for a limited-edition men’s footwear collection that blends their histories in handcrafted tradition.

Barbour’s signature brown and green color palette is showcased in the capsule, which launched on Tuesday and is handcrafted in Spain. One of the styles is the Southfield, a four eyelet moccasin featuring a padded collar and a Vi-Lite Vibram sole. Antique brass eyelets serve as an understated reference to Barbour, taking inspiration from the brand’s famous waxed jackets. The shoe is offered in three colorways.

The Coatham, which puts on a spin on Wildbunch Styles’ Wally style, is available in two colorways and comes with a hiker sole. The moccasins, which are suede with a leather lining, feature interchangeable laces and antique brass D-ring loop holes influenced by Barbour’s waxed jackets.

Lastly, the Heathpool rounds out the collection, blending the look of the Wally style with Barbour sensibility. A more relaxed option, the green suede shoe features a leather collar and EVA Vibram sole. The capsule is available on Barbour.com and at select retailers.

“This is a new footwear collaboration that combines Barbour’s iconic heritage with Wildbunch styles’s timeless craftsmanship, seamlessly blending rugged functionality with contemporary style,” said Nicholas Drury, head of footwear at Barbour. “Produced in Southern Spain by artisan craftsmen, each pair of shoes boasts premium suede and leather uppers, durable Vibram soles and Wildbunch Styles’s signature leather lining and insoles.”

Originating in 1894 in South Shields, Barbour continues to tap into its rich history with collaborators. Last February, Alexa Chung celebrated their new collection at a fish bar in Finsbury Park, and Paul Smith and Erdem can also be counted among Barbour’s recent collaborators.
