AmfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research, held its annual gala benefit in Venice on Sunday during the 2024 Venice Film Festival. Hosted by Kate Beckinsale, the fundraiser featured performances from Kelly Rowland and Rumer Willis. Antonio Banderas was presented with the Global Impact Award, while Richard Gere received the Award of Inspiration.
With help from sponsors like Chopard, Uber and Campari, the event was staged by the Red Sea Film Festival, launched in Saudi Arabia in 2019.
Models including Stella Maxwell, Josephine Skriver, Toni Garrn and Maria Borges were also in attendance at the AmfAR gala, as well as “Emily in Paris” star Lucien Laviscount and British Vogue’s former editor in chief, Edward Enninful.
