FIRST THINGS FIRST: Little Michel made his first fashion show appearance at Valentino on Wednesday night.
The social media-savvy puppet and newly named assistant of DJ Michel Gaubert, unfortunately, was unable to speak.
“He has a sore throat,” his boss said apologetically. “I sent him to Berlin, where it’s, like, minus-10 [degrees Celsius], and I forgot to give him a scarf.”
The duo just starred in a Mercedes-Benz film directed by Toben Seymour, but promised more fashion-related projects would follow.
It was also a debut of sorts for Izabel Goulart.
“I’m excited to watch my very first show. It’s the first time I’m on the other side; it’s very different,” divulged the Victoria’s Secret model, who sported a breezy look from Valentino’s couture collection.
Goulart was unimpressed by the chilly temperatures. “We models are used to that kind of thing. We shoot winter clothes in the summer and summer clothes in the winter,” she explained, before chatting away with actor Raphaël Personnaz.
Other guests included Antonio Folletto, Jérémy Kapone and Louis-Marie de Castelbajac.
