UNSTOPPABLE: Lanvin owner Shaw-Lan Wang revealed she defied doctor’s orders to attend the luxury house’s men’s show in Paris on Sunday. “I have dizzy spells,” she confided.
That did not prevent the sprightly seventysomething from chatting up a storm with front-row guest Chun Wu. The former member of Taiwanese boy band Fahrenheit said he would soon hit screens in “Dynasty Woman,” an epic Chinese romance starring Fan Bingbing as the 8th-century Tang Dynasty consort Yang Guifei.
After multiple delays, the film is now set for an April release, Wu said.
“I haven’t seen his movies,” Wang confessed. “All the old stars — Jackie Chan, Jet Li, Andy Lau — they are all very close friends. They,” she said, wrinkling her nose and pointing at Chun and fellow guest Hung-Sheng Huang, “are too young for me.”
Huang, who goes by the English name Alien Huang, was in town to glean inspiration for his own clothing line, Alien Evolution Studio. “I like art,” he declared, taking in the classical sculptures dotting the Fine Arts School, where the display was held.
The multitalented artist — he is also a singer, actor, TV presenter, writer and illustrator — said he had three movies coming out in 2015, as well as an album.
