Ari Stark is the fashion assistant at WWD. In addition to overseeing the fashion closet, he coordinates the editors’ schedules, manages the New York Fashion Week calendar, reviews collections and writes news and trend-related stories across men’s and womenswear markets. Prior to joining in 2021, Ari gained an array of industry experience with roles spanning luxury retail and editorial for magazines such as CR Fashion Book and Elle. He is an Atlanta native and moved to New York to attend The New School, where he earned a BA in journalism and fashion business. The few pastimes he enjoys not involving clothes in some manner include aerial arts, skiing and watching reality television.
