The third time’s a charm for Bottega Veneta, which will again sponsor the Hammer Museum’s annual Gala in the Garden in Los Angeles on Oct. 10. Creative director Tomas Maier will serve as a co-chair for the event, along with Julia Roberts and Danny Moder, and Sam and Aaron Taylor-Johnson. This year, the gala will honor actress and art collector Diane Keaton and artist Paul McCarthy. Emma Stone will present Keaton with her award and Matthew Barney will introduce McCarthy. Jane Lynch will serve as master of ceremonies but the night’s musical performer has yet to be announced. Maier and Sam Taylor-Johnson worked together on Bottega’s Summer 2008 Campaign, which will be featured in “Bottega Veneta: The Art of Collaboration” a coffee table book to be published by Rizzoli on October 13 featuring ad campaigns dating back to 2002.
