SANTA, BABY: “Doesn’t it feel like the holidays?” chirped Sienna Miller, at the Cartier manse early Monday morning to turn on the store’s holiday lights along with the company’s North American president and chief executive officer Frédéric de Narp and of course, Santa Claus.
The actress who is busy doing promotions for her much-anticipated movie, Factory Girl, which opens in Los Angeles on Dec. 29, has loved Cartier since she was a child. “When my mum was about 28, her boyfriend gave her a [yellow gold Cartier Love bracelet], screwed it on and threw the key into the river…And she hasn’t taken it off since,” mused Miller. “It’s mine and my sister’s favorite image of her.”
Miller got her Cartier fill as well, wearing a 1937 gold, platinum, lapis and diamond parure to accompany her Chanel coat and shoes.

The 5th avenue store façade is decorated with giant red jewelry boxes, 95,000 custom red LED lights, 100 strobe lights and the 27-year old traditional red ribbon which, at 215 feet long is wrapped around the entire building, and is finishes with an 8 foot bow.
