They Are: Flocking to the Latest Edition Hotel

If Ian Schrager builds it, they will come. His latest venture opens this week at the landmark Metropolitan Life Tower in Manhattan with a marathon of impossible-to-resist parties around the clock, just like the Editions in London and Miami. There are no fewer than 10 events on the docket: cocktails for Maiyet, a celebration for Claire Distenfeld’s Fivestory, a Lehmann Maupin preview, yada yada yada. Expected to attend are Princess Eugenie, tons of designers and artists (the Public School guys, Francisco Costa, Kehinde Wiley) and, naturally, too many models to count, just like in the old days of Studio 54.
