London-based MiH Jeans has appointed Beverly Hill as its first chief executive officer. Hill, whose appointment is effective Oct. 6, joins MiH from Issa, where she had served as ceo since 2012.
Chloe Lonsdale, who founded the denim label in 2006, will now take on the role of chief creative officer, while Johan Quintus, Lonsdale’s husband and business partner, will become chief operating officer.
MiH said that Hill will be responsible for managing the label’s international expansion, expanding its ready-to-wear offering and developing its retail business, with a first store planned to open within the next 18 months.
Before joining Issa as ceo — where she oversaw the opening of the brand’s first franchise store in Tokyo and a ten-store deal in the Middle East – Hill was a vice president at Club Monaco Europe.
Lonsdale said: “[Hill’s] experience in commercial expansion, both in the U.K. and internationally, and her connection with our product…made her a natural fit.”

Hill added: “I particularly look forward to creating an MiH retail experience and, in the future, developing franchising and licensing partnerships.”
Lonsdale launched MiH Jeans in 2006, taking inspiration from the denim label her godfather founded in 1969.
The brand now spotlights a swathe of different denim fits, along with ready-to-wear pieces.
