NYDJ Apparel LLC has signed a deal with Ontario-based Throat Threads Apparel to distribute the women’s denim brand at department and specialty stores in Canada beginning fall 2015.
As part of the arrangement, NYDJ also will launch e-commerce in Canada in early 2015.
“We believe that we have the right product and messaging to resonate most effectively in Canada. We look forward to partnering with Throat Threads to grow in this very important market,” said Bob Skinner, president and chief executive officer of NYDJ.
The brand is available at The Bay department stores and select specialty stores in Canada, as well as the new Nordstrom locations now opening across the country.
Throat Threads also distributes John Varvatos, Robert Graham, Brax, Adidas, Ping and PVH neckwear in the Canadian market.
